| It consists of a glass tube 100 cm long mounted on a stand which is fitted with leveling screws. the lower end of the tube is connected to a hard glass reservoir by rubber tubing provided with a pinch cock. the reservoir slides on a metal rod and can be raised or lowered for adjusting the length of column of air. |
